In 1698 Thomas Mynshull left his two properties in Manchester to Trustees to apprentice ‘poor, sound and healthful boys of Manchester in honest labour and employment’.
A lot has changed today. This charity exists to help anyone, not just boys, with their educational and training needs. It helps those who have encountered challenging times.
What can Mynshull’s help you with?
We can support you with your education and training needs.
We are here to help!
Applications can be made by anyone who is under 25 years for equipment, clothing and experiences.
Any applicant or parent must live/study within the City of Manchester or the City of Salford.
Why not apply now?
To apply for a grant, you need someone to support your application. This person will be your sponsor and they can be a social worker, a teacher, a support worker, a student welfare advisor or any other professional who is aware of your needs.
Your sponsor will be asked to confirm your need and so they must be part of your application process and sign the form when it is complete.
